William (Genesis) Wanyende

Missionary | Founder of 5&2 Foundation Ministries | Child Advocate | Evangelist and International Speaker

William (Genesis) Wanyende is a passionate missionary, leader, and visionary with over a decade of hands-on experience serving vulnerable communities across Africa and beyond. Born in Kenya and raised in Uganda, Genesis has devoted his life to bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to the hurting, the forgotten, and the unreached.

In 2018, after years of ministry among war-affected communities in  countries like South Sudan, the DRC, he launched 5&2 Foundation Ministries—an initiative birthed out of faith, with a heart to rescue, disciple, and empower orphaned and at-risk children, to empower and disciple pastors and families as well. What began with a handful of children has now grown into a thriving orphanage and Christian school, providing food, shelter, education, and the love of Christ to over 130 children and hundreds of Pastors.

Genesis is a trained leader in trauma healing, evangelism, and cross-cultural missions. He is fluent in several languages, enabling him to connect deeply across regions and cultures. His mission has taken him from remote villages in Africa to countries across the world, from leading outreaches to training future missionaries all over the world.

He believes that every child and adult has a God-given purpose, and with the right care, love, and opportunity, they can rise above their past and impact the world.

Don and Vicki Cutler

Board Members

Don is a retired construction contractor with over 30 years experience in building and remodeling homes along with 12 years dedicated to tree farming and heavy equipment construction and maintenance in the almond industry.  He’s still a business owner in the senior health care services and takes great joy in providing for the needs of the elderly.  His true love is studying God’s word and sharing God’s truth, love, and the redeeming grace of Jesus with others. He plays guitar, learns new songs and worships the Lord through music and song.

Vickie is retired from over 25 years of service in the public school system. She has always had a heart for children and guiding students in successful educational experiences and their personal development. She holds teaching credentials and qualifications for elementary school, English language development, Reading instruction and intervention, and school administration. She wants every child to come to know the love of Jesus in their lives and to grow in their faith and trust in Him.

Together they have raised four children; two daughters and two sons, and currently have 7 grandchildren with another one on the way! Spending time with their family is one of their greatest joys. They serve in the prayer and healing ministry at their local church ‘and often evangelize as they go about their day. They have a small farm, housing; chickens, rabbits, and two Golden Retrievers. The children in Uganda captured their hearts on their December 2024 visit and have given them a strong desire to help serve in the efforts to provide care and education.
