Kwagala Bagume is an 8-year-old girl from Uganda, living in Katonga Village. She has three brothers, three sisters, and one half-brother. Her father does not support their education, but her mother—a hardworking peasant—struggles tirelessly to send her children to school.
Thanks to Foundation Christian Schools and the support of the Five Loaves and Two Fish Foundation, Kwagala and her sisters are able to continue their studies. With this help, they have hope for a brighter future and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education.
