One Bible for a Whole Village.
In one remote village, there is only one Bible. Torn and fragile, its pages are sacred. On Sundays, the pastor uses it to preach a message of hope. But after church, it doesn’t go into a drawer or onto a shelf—it begins its journey. Carefully, it’s handed from family to family, person to person, all week long. Each one reads a portion, some out loud, others in secret prayer. On Saturday evening, it’s returned to the pastor, just in time to prepare the sermon for the next day.
This is not a story from centuries ago. It’s happening today.
For many communities we serve, having a Bible is a miracle. It’s not taken for granted—it’s cherished, studied, and even shared in torn pieces so others can hear God’s Word. When you’ve tasted the truth for yourself, when you’ve read the words of Jesus for the first time—how did it feel? Peaceful? Powerful? Transformative?
Now imagine being the one to give someone else that same experience.
Why we train Pastors
At 5&2 Foundation Ministries, one of our deepest passions is equipping pastors—not only with Bibles but with training that transforms families and communities. Many pastors in rural and underserved areas have no formal biblical education, yet they carry the enormous responsibility of shepherding entire villages.
Our pastor training programs provide:
• Biblical training to understand and teach Scripture clearly and confidently
• Family and leadership training to help pastors model healthy homes and raise children in love and discipline
• Counseling tools to help address trauma, abuse, addiction, and abandonment in their communities
• Practical tools for outreach, child protection, and discipleship
• A Bible of their own so they can study, grow, and pass on what they learn.
Many of the children on the streets today come from broken families—often from churches where the family wasn’t taught or prioritized. When we train a pastor, we don’t just train a preacher—we shape a father, a mentor, a protector. We’ve seen communities change because a trained pastor learned how to love his children, value his wife, and teach others to do the same
